Il Gorilla

Vocal/Choir

This is a unit of male vocalists and pianists whose aim is to deliver a sea of sound pressure as powerful as a gorilla. Each member is a young vocalist active in the New National Theatre, the Nikikai, and the Tokyo Philharmonic Chorus.
The group has held two unique concerts so far, which have been very well received, bringing a dense program and an ocean of sound pressure to the venue. Each time, the concert title and concept are decided by a survey vote on SNS, and a challenge corner is set up during the concert to introduce vocalists who challenge the gorilla.
